The Newlath Plug can be used internally and externally
Above ground the Newlath Plug can be used internally and externally to secure Newton Meshed Membranes. Use a 7mm SDS drill bit to drill through membrane and substrate prior to hammering home fixing plug. Prime plug hole with Newton Mastic.

NEWTON COB FIXING

The Newton Cob fixing has an expanding stem so can be used on poor substrates
Above ground the Newton Cob fixing is used with Newton Meshed Membranes. It has an expanding stem which provides effective anchorage in a wide range of base materials. Prime plug hole first with Newton Mastic prior to hammering the fixing home.

NEWTON MASTIC

Newton Mastic is applied to the plug before fixing
Newton Mastic is used in above ground applications with Newton Meshed Membranes. It is applied to the plug before fixing into the membrane, which serves to stop any ‘bridge’ happening between the damp or stained surface and the new surface. Mastic is also used for jointing the material.
NEWTON PROFILE

Newton Profile is used as a stop bead
Newton Profile can be used with Newton Damp Proof Membranes as a stop bead. Profile also prevents the bridging of dampness from the floor to the chosen internal finish.
